Woke up 5 in the morning and got myself prepared. Cabbed down to Bedok MRT station as my bus only starts at 5.30am. Johnathan didn't want to delay the time so insisted everyone to cab down. Trained to Harbourfront Centre,got our tickets and went McDonalds for a quick bite.
7.20am, Checked in as our ferry leaves at 7.45am. There's this new way of checking in. You don't have to join the long queue waiting for the security to stamp your passport anymore. Just slip your passport into a machine, scan your thumbprint and everything will work itself. I couldn't get through that machine cos i was stupidly dumb to scan the second page of my passport instead of the first. Joined the long queue and Johnathan suddenly called. " They're calling our names to get into the ferry already! Asked the auntie in front of you to let you go first! '' Did as he said. Hurried down to the ferry as we were late. The ferry ride was an hour plus. Couldn't get some sleep cos the seat wasn't comfortable! Ha!
[ He's too excited la. Pardon him. ]9am, Finally, we reached Batam. It was my second time there. First was with Robby. =)
Changed our money and intend to have breakfast at the mall opposite. But damn it! They only open at 9am. Oh! Indonesia's time is an hour later than Singapore. Which means they only open at 10am Singapore time. Left with no choice, we went for breakfast at this Kaya Toast House. Had difficulty ordering our food cos they were all malays who don't understand English! Thank god some of us knew some Malay. Haha! Currency for Indonesia is SGD1 = RP6400. And our total bill for breakfast was RP 2811000! We had problem counting can! But it's so satisfying to carry a few million with you. If only we had this amount of money in Singapore. Hmm... Dream on la! HA!

10am, Moved on after our breakfast. Johnathan suggested to go Nagoya Shopping Centre. No shuttle bus = must take cab. Once we stepped out of Batam Centre, taxi drivers start to approach us. Somehow like prostitutes la. Lol. First, they wanted to extort our money by offering a ride for $8! That's for sure a no-way for us man. We began bargaining with them and ended up with $6 per ride. It's still expensive though. First stop, Nagoya Shopping Centre. The mall wasn't even open when we reach there. So we went to this nearby carnival. Exhibiting motor bikes. Not long after, the mall was opened. Went in to Matahari, their departmental store in Batam. People there looked kuku when they can't move as their shop song is being played. I didn't notice it until they told me. Ha. First stuff bought there was a wallet for my dad. =) Split ways with the guys and the girls went shopping like nobody business! Cosmetics there were cheap cheap cheap!!!! Bought a lipstick for mum and a liquid foundation for myself. Elisa saw a very nice bag but the stupid sales girl die die don't want to lower the price. It was considered cheap in SG but i bet we can get it at a lower price.

1pm, Robby and Ee Seng came. Robby this damn-rich-ass-boy can drive!!!! Ate A&W before moving on to the second stop. You guys must be wondering, how can a car fits 11 people??!! Yes, in SG, it's impossible. But in Batam, everything's possible! Just like how Robby at an age of 17 can drive! Squeeze-ation was inevitable la. Poor guys, lucky DeJun and the girls! ( He was skinny enough to fit the front seat. HAHA! )

[ Happy moments for the girls in the FRONT SEAT. LOL. ]Noon, lost track of time. Second stop, an ulu ulu shopping mall selling stuff that Geylang Serai has. The moment we stepped into the mall, we were like WTH?? SG's Geylang Serai??? Din want to grumble much cos Robby was already being kind enough to drive us around. And we were glad that Robby came with us cos it was easier to bargain. Haha! While waiting for the guys to try on jeans, i got bored and began to camwhore! Hee!

[ With a SG1+, you can have a haircut there. Don't ask me abt their skills, i wouldn't dare to take the risk. HA! ]Late noon, Robby suggested to shop in another mall which have cheaper and nicer stuffs. But due to some addition to the group( Robby's cousin and friends. ), the car would have to make double trips. " Ladies first '' concept was throughout the Batam trip. So, ladies along with WeiMing, took the first ride. Third stop, BCS shopping mall. We walked and shopped around while waiting for the guys. Ate their McDonald McFlurry. It doesn't come with Oreo but with M&M chocolates. Haha. After an hour, we were waiting so impatiently for the rest. We kept calling their phones but no answers. WeiMing and I thought of stupid stuffs like they maybe got into a car crash. Gosh! WTH were we thinking man! HAHA!

And finally, they came. Looking suspicious and a bit off their mood. Johnathan even had his shirt changed. We girls din want to ask them for what happened during the past one hour cos we know they will definitely share with us. But no! They din want to say! They kept talking about the whole incident within themselves. The suspension kept us waiting for hours! Decided to grab a bite in one of their restaurants. Had fries, nuggets and popcorn chicken. Left for the last stop after the guys did their shopping.
